 The most important part about your unit is to treat it like your own hair, the following tips suggested to keep your flawless unit in great condition are:

Co-washing your unit weekly is highly recommended to keep your extensions hydrated. Co-washing is when you wash your hair with a cleansing conditioner. (*AS I AM Coconut Co-wash is recommended*)

You should shampoo your extensions about twice a month with a sulfate free shampoo. Please do not excessively shampoo your extensions; it will dry out the hair. Mielle Organics shampoo is recommended as it keeps the hair moisturized.

Air drying is STRONGLY recommended, this is the most beneficial way to dry your hair. If you MUST blow dry your hair, then use a good heat protectant.

After washing and conditioning it is ideal to use a GOOD leave in conditioner to keep the hair moist and keep its natural luster. We suggest Mielle Organics leave-in conditioner.

Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco light penetrating oil can be used daily to your desire, it’s very light and will not weigh the hair down

MUST READ IF YOU PURCHASE A CURLY OR DEEP WAVE UNIT, if you have deep wave or deep curly hair, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE HAIR HYDRATED. When wearing the hair in its natural state, use a spray bottle with water and leave in the conditioner (Mielle Organics) to saturate the hair. This will eliminate frizz and enhance your curls. A curl defining cream is optional; this will also enhance your curls.

With proper care and maintenance, your machine-made unit should last you 3+ years. 5+ years if you have a raw unit.
