Wigs by Whitney custom units: TAT for custom unit construction and shipment time can be anywhere between 7-14 business days but can vary or possibly be extended due to high volume of orders or unforeseen circumstances. Please plan accordingly when placing an order for a custom unit also requesting custom options like color or adding on last minute custom options will result in more time being added than the average time asked to be allowed.

Wigs by Whitney Ready to Ship units: Ready to Ship units are units that are already created in the most common size. Please allow 3-7 business days for delivery or pick up but can vary or possibly be extended due to high volume of orders or unforeseen circumstances, please plan accordingly. You are purchasing the wig as seen in the picture and as described in the description. 

Measurements: When getting a custom unit, you are solely responsible for providing the measurements. We have provided a chart for you to follow to show you the measurements needed for constructing your unit. If you do not provide the measurements when placing the order, you are extending the TAT to get your unit shipped to you. Please provide CORRECT measurements at the time of placing the order. We are not responsible for incorrect measurements and if your unit must be re-made due to you providing incorrect measurements then there will be an additional fee for re-constructing the unit.

Let’s Talk Lace: So there is a few things you need to know when purchasing a lace frontal or closure. They are not meant to last forever. Shedding is perfectly normal when it comes to lace frontals or closures, it’s strands of hair pulled into a piece of lace, so yes it will shed because it is a piece of lace. Frontals are very high maintenance so having knowledge is very important.  Knowing the life span of a frontal cannot be determined because it depends on the person and their everyday activities. Frontals are not recommended if you are a very active person, sweat a lot, plan on getting it FULLY wet or have a low hair line.  Frontal installs work differently for each person when it comes to longevity so it is important to educate yourself on how to maintain your install.
